According to a 2007 study, the average adult American consumer with Internet access spends 6.1 hours daily with video & computer based entertainment. And you wonder why we don’t have time to pray! The fact is, that while we’re surfing the net, we can actually pray and study the scriptures far more productively than our predecessors. The trick is spending time in the right places. The web version of The Living Church Magazine, is dedicated to Anglicans everywhere. You’ll find church news, great articles, expert opinions, even a preview of this Sunday’s readings. For over 130 years, Living Church has been a great information resource. |

The entire Book of Common Prayer is available as a single PDF file. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the red link labeled: “as a single PDF file” and save it to your computer. The big advantage to a computer prayer book is the search function. Type a word into the search box and it’ll scan the entire book. |

The best multiple translation site. Primarily for the New International Version, it also has 19 other translations. One feature allows viewing of two or more versions side by side. It also has Topical Search . Type in a subject, and it will give you relevant verses. |

New American Bible This is the New American Bible, used primarily by Roman Catholics. The best things about this site are the incredible footnotes. Each passage has lots of background information; very handy if something seems confusing. Click Here. |
